Meet Benji Portwin, one of our Product Bootcamp coaches

Benji Portwin is one of the brilliant coaches who teaches our Product Bootcamp. He’s delivered it at some of Europe’s top business schools, including Oxford University, Cambridge University, HEC Paris and IESE.

Here’s some more info on his background and what brought him to the wonderful world of Product Management:

Benji has never been happy with the status quo and that’s led him on a constant journey of discovery – about who he is, what he values and consequently how he wants to spend his time at work. Having started out gamifying how mathematics is taught in high schools, he quickly became disillusioned by the constraints of school life and sought out an industry that encouraged everyone to ask “why”, fortuitously finding himself in the world of technology.

Since then he’s been lucky enough to work for a range of organisations over his 10 years in tech – from behemoths like the UK Government, to hyper-scaling organisations like Spotify and Monzo, he’s been there and seen first hand what it takes for people to work together to build great products.

Now working as the VP of Product at accuRx, a hyper-scaling health tech startup trying to fix communications across the NHS, he’s focused on “walking the walk” after years of thinking maybe he could do it better if he was given the chance.
